What the project keeps, who sees it, where it sits, how long it stays, and how to take it all back.

## What is kept

From the form: the first name and age of everyone in it, where you are coming from, your country, your WhatsApp number, your email, your mother tongue, a picture if you add one, and the one line you write. With the tick that you join at your own responsibility: its date, its time and the network address it came from. For each night: which nights you joined, the numbers of the hammocks hung for your group, any extra nights agreed in person, whether a hammock is still out, and anything owed for one that did not come back. If you turn on notifications: the address your browser's push service gives that phone, with its two keys.

## What everyone can see

On the members page: your first name, your picture, your city and country with its flag, your mother tongue, the month you joined, how many nights you have joined, and your line. Never your email, your number, your age, or which night you are on.

## Who sees more

The people on the same night see, inside that night's group space, your first name and what you post there. The project's owner sees your details, to run the nights and to reach you. Nobody else.

## Where it lives

On Cloudflare, in the project's own database and file store, and the emails go out through Cloudflare too. The typeface and the flags come from this site itself. The map on your own page comes from OpenStreetMap. Notifications travel through your browser's own push service — Google, Apple, Mozilla or Microsoft — sealed, so it reads nothing. Only the text of the weekly update is translated, by Cloudflare's AI; your details never are. Nothing is sold or shared, and no advertising or third-party tracker runs on this site.

## Notifications

Off until you turn them on, phone by phone, on your own page. They come in your mother tongue, for five things only: your night confirmed with the exact spot, a hammock come free for you, a night called off and why, the morning your hammock goes back, and the weekly update. You can turn them off there at any moment; a phone that stops answering is forgotten by itself.

## On this phone

Once you join, this phone remembers the link to your own page, so it opens again here. It stays on this phone only, and the join page has a button that makes it forget. Lost the link? The join page finds your page again from the email you joined with.

## How long

Your card stays on the members page — once in, always in — until you remove yourself. A night's group space, and everything posted in it, is gone once that night is over. Hammock numbers and anything owed stay until the hammock is back or it is settled. A picture the project keeps from a night stays in the gallery, with no name on it.

## Changing it, and taking it back

Your own page lets you change your first name, picture, city, mother tongue and line at any time. Cancelling frees your place at once and closes the project to you for good. Removing yourself completely erases your name, picture, email, number, country, line, your nights and the pictures you posted. What survives is a one-way fingerprint of your email and number, readable by nobody and used for one thing only: honouring that you asked to go.
