What should I bring to a hammock night in the Philippines?
The short version of what makes a night go well.
- Respect the place and everyone in it.
- Leave it exactly as you found it.
- Keep your things with you.
- Lights out when the group sleeps.
- Arrive at your own risk and in your own time.
- Eighteen and over.
- The hammocks belong to the project and stay at the spot: each has a number, noted when it is handed to you there, and it is handed back in the morning — ₱800 when one stays away.
Always worth having
- Water
- An LED light and spare batteries
- A light blanket
- Insect repellent
- Shoes you can walk in
- A dry bag for your phone
Nature is nature. Everyone joins at their own responsibility — snakes, insects, weather, water, the ground, the trees, your belongings and your health. The project carries no liability for anything that happens on a night.
